PLEASE DO NOT STAND UNDER A TREE DURING A LIGHTNING STORM...says most warnings! I was under the tree in my own house taking these pics...so duuuuuh. Luckily stoopid me managed not getting fried and posting these pics. I took quite a number of pictures but mostly it came out pitch black as Zues was quite stingy that night. *pic (1) - so bright with multiple lightning within the clouds *pic(2) - this was better *pic(3) - this actually looked better as it happened *pic(4) - yup...too near 4 comfort already, heard a loud clap as I was making my way back inside my house.... I'm in no mood to become a satay...

Snake Episode - Part 2

Working in a tight claustrophobic area proved difficult!

The whole drama lasted more than an hour... with the firemen perspiring in the tight and hot condition. And not helped by pumped-up adrenalin because of the sheer danger in handling the King Cobra. A bite could prove fatal in a matter of minutes. The firemen told us that this is the 2nd longest King Cobra in Penang (south) caught in a residential area.
The funny part was the crowd outside were already talking about a 10 footer long Phython and all sorts of nonsense... when actually was a 6-footer King Cobra. Well, if it was a run-of-the-mill cobra then ok but adding a King in front of its name - boy - have to respect this majesty!

This was an episode which happened 4 years ago in our ol' house. Collecting recounts from everyone, I did quick doodles in abt half-an-hour to share this scary experience with you readers. Interesting facts that evening : (a) My Minolta was in the same room as the snake! damn! (b) the nearest jungle was about a mile away (c) my dad (who crazily kept snakes when he was young) said he couldn't handle this big one (d) I really respect firemen! (e) Animal Planet was having Snake Month! (f) My mom hates snakes (g) My mom never knew she could move so fast at her age (52 then).

...as we join our titanic battle of taunts, water-achievements (3 bottles of "TopStar" mineral water when every player in a team gets a strike in a frame - in english- everyone must get strikelah!) and "psycho-ing" each other.
At the end, we won by a mere 2 points.... as we geared up for the coming week where our next 3 players - Georgi, David and Nic goes against Virus..... we are bringing a guy called McAfee with us along nxt wk.

Our bowling team playing playing this week is teetoo(me!), Steve Hobbes and Fuminari (http://fuminari.fotopages.com). We are Rainbow 6!!! ..... sounds sissy/colourful/faggotish  right? Wrong!  We were inspired by the PC game and novel by Tom Clancy of the same name!
We were up against Rasa Sayang A of Albert, Hisham (i think!) and Zaidi. When we clash - there will always be noise pollution from our bowling lanes.... let the games begin...

The girls' final "walk" was in a Baju Kebaya setup complete with Q & A session where questions were directed at promoting the sponsors... well we ain't complaning as long as they're sponsoring. Didn't catch the winners cause was soooooooo hungry. I suspect everyone will get somethin' like Miss Air Asia Hair Beautifullah... or Miss Bella Fair Skin lah.... Miss Missy Elliot.....all sorts of Miss Miss Miss..
